Course Description
TLC’s Responsible Adult (RA) Course has been created with the reality of this line of work in mind. Our goal & commitment is to provide training that includes hands-on learning, visuals and the tools to be successful. This course surpasses the basic requirements of the 20 hours training as stated in the Child Care Regulations. Teaching in smaller groups is proven success and therefore we are only accepting 10 students per session.
We want every student to leave this course or each session feeling encouraged, inspired and educated!
Interactive sessions that covers all the basic concepts and understanding of the child care industry. Students must be 19 years of age to register, attend all sessions and pass all interactive quizzes to receive a certification of completion.

Message from TLC Founder & President, Farah Devji-Jamani
When you find your life’s purpose and destiny; this feeds your soul and it doesn’t feel like work. I started out loving being in the classrooms and I knew this was my destiny but just like life changes; my life’s purpose has too. I absolutely love teaching teachers and the best part is seeing the “ah-ha” moments happen in their eyes. I am blessed and very thankful to be able to share my knowledge and passion with others. The best part is that when I teach I learn too!

Testimonial
I have had the opportunity to attend workshops from Ms Farah. I found them very informative and I walk away with lots of ideas. I love how she encourages us to be better teachers by making sure that we make everyone matter! This includes students, parents and fellow co workers.
I find Ms Farah to be very professional and answers questions that we might have. She encourages us to participate by either playing games or doing a craft ( what ECE doesn't like to do a craft!). While doing these interactive things we are learning. Ms Farah picks topics for her workshops that teachers might be strongly with and gives wonderful advice in how to deal with issues.
If you have a chance to take her workshop please do it! You won't regret it!
