POSITION DESCRIPTION>
The Learning Circle Childcare Centres Abbotsford Campus a Campus Manager at The Learning Circle, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission and philosophy to create a nurturing and supportive environment for our students to learn, grow, and develop. You will be responsible for the daily operations of our childcare center, overseeing our dedicated team of educators and ensuring that our programs and activities align with the values and goals of our families.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining open lines of communication with families and staff members, fostering happiness and well-being in each student, and providing outstanding educational programs that help our students excel in all areas of development.

Job Title: Campus Manager
Full/Part Time: Full-Time
Regular/Temporary: Regular
Hours: Varies within the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm
Wage: $24-$26 per hour (depending on certification and experience); EXCLUDING the $4 BC Wage Enhancement which will be received by candidates for each hour worked.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the childcare center.

Supervise and coordinate staff, trainees, and volunteers.

Staff scheduling
-
Assist in onboarding and training of new employees.
-
Knowledge of BC Childcare and Licensing regulations.

Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Working with Senior Educators on the implementation of care plans or behavioural strategies when required.

Maintain daycare equipment, order supplies and equipment as required.

Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.

Provide staff meetings and professional development opportunities for the team

Yoga experience or knowledge is an asset.

Knowledge of French, Spanish, and Sign Language is an asset.
Qualifications
-
Valid BC Early Childhood Educator and Infant Toddler license. Having a Special Needs Educator license is an asset.

Valid Emergency Childcare First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of BC child care license regulations.

1-3 years of experience as a manager in a childcare setting.

At least 3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator.

At least 2 years of experience as an Infant Toddler Teacher.

Proficient in Computer skills using Google Drive applications and Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to learn and use our childcare software app.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate staff, trainees, and volunteers.

Passion for teaching children and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Must be able to effectively use computer software such as Microsoft Office and be a quick learner for our childcare software app.
