Campus Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the childcare center.
• Supervise and coordinate staff, trainees, and volunteers.
• Staff scheduling.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new employees.
• Knowledge of BC Childcare and Licensing regulations.
• Develop and implement childcare programs that support and promote the
  physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Work with Senior Educators on the implementation of care plans or behavioural
  strategies when required.
• Maintain daycare equipment; order supplies and equipment as required.
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and
  well-being of children.
• Provide staff meetings and professional development opportunities for the team.
• Yoga experience or knowledge is an asset.
• Knowledge of French, Spanish, and Sign Language is an asset.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator and Infant Toddler licenses.
  Having a Special Needs Educator license is an asset.
• Valid Emergency Childcare First Aid certificate that meets the requirements
  of BC childcare license regulations.
• 1–3 years of experience as a manager in a childcare setting.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Infant Toddler Teacher.
• Proficient computer skills using Google Drive applications and Microsoft Office,
  with the ability to learn and use our childcare software app.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate staff,
  trainees, and volunteers.
• Passion for teaching children and creating a positive and supportive learning
  environment.
• Must be able to effectively use computer software such as Microsoft Office and
  be a quick learner for our childcare software app.
