About Us

Providing a higher standard of early education and care since 1992.

We Are Different!

We are a different kind of early learning facility, delivering a unique and holistic approach to childcare since 1992.

Our curriculum is built on respect for each child, nurturing individual strengths and supporting learning and discovery in their own unique ways. We are creating a community where children, teachers, and parents fit together like puzzle pieces.

Our unique and holistic approach to early learning and childcare sets us apart, fosters individual strengths and promotes balance between education, physical fitness, nutrition, and care.

We stand apart as a different, unique, and truly special kind of early learning facility, just like the children.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire a sense of worth and belonging in children, families, and staff while empowering them to reach their full potential through emotional connections, high-quality care and education, and collaboration with families in a nurturing and innovative environment.

Our Uniforms

Early childhood education plays a crucial role in promoting a positive learning environment through the use of uniforms. For students ages 1-5 enrolled in our Foundations 1 to 3 classes, uniforms help create:

=

Unity and Community

Wearing uniforms helps build a sense of unity and community within the school. All students are on the same team and can focus on who they are and build their self-esteem.

=

Easier Mornings

Wearing uniforms eliminates the stress of what to wear in the morning, making mornings easier for students and parents.

=

Encourages School Spirit

Uniforms foster a sense of community and identity, promoting school spirit and a sense of unity and belonging among students.

=

Equal Opportunity

Uniforms level the playing field and create equality among students. Children of all backgrounds start from the same point and are not judged based on the latest fashion trends.

=

Economical

School uniforms are designed to withstand everyday wear and repeated washing, so parents only need to buy a few sets each year. This results in long-term savings for families.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to support our student’s natural curiosity and creativity, fostering their growth in all areas, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

We believe in providing our students with opportunities to take risks, solve problems, and learn from their experiences, helping them build the confidence and resilience they need to become confident and successful individuals.

Our Goal

At The Learning Circle, our goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where parents feel heard and valued. We strive to offer programs that align with parents’ values and goals for their child’s education and maintain open communication to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Our focus is on fostering happiness, well-being, and pride in our students by providing a supportive and nurturing environment. Our goal is to make sure all children feel valued and know that they matter. We are dedicated to providing outstanding educational programs that help students excel in all areas of development, prepare them for success, and teach important life skills.

Our teachers’ expertise and personalized approach lay the foundation for each student’s lifelong success and fulfillment by unlocking their full pote

Safety & Security

At The Learning Circle, your child’s safety comes first. Our secure, touchless Bluetooth building access ensures only authorized individuals can enter. Inside, security cameras provide internal monitoring, and parents may request to view footage on-site. These measures help ensure a safe, protected environment for every child.

Our Founder & President

When I sit in my office and reflect on what I want to share about myself and The Learning Circle, my thoughts are filled with gratitude, purpose, and many meaningful memories.

I have dedicated over 30 years to early learning because I believe every child deserves to be seen, valued, and believed in. As a young educator, I was fortunate to have teachers who believed in me—and that belief shaped the way I have shown up for children ever since. It inspired my passion for creating environments where children are nurtured, respected, and supported at their own unique developmental pace.

Along my journey, I was blessed with one miracle baby—my daughter, Meia. Becoming a parent deepened my understanding of what it truly feels like to place your child in someone else’s care. It strengthened my empathy for families and reaffirmed the responsibility we hold: not just to educate children, but to honour the trust parents place in us every day.

The Learning Circle has been growing since 1992, and with time I have come to understand something even more powerful—this work is about impact. One of my most cherished reminders of that is Tanner, who was just three years old when I first knew him. Today, he is nearly 30. Seeing who he has become reminds me that the relationships we build and the care we give can last a lifetime.
At The Learning Circle, we believe early learning shapes lives. After more than three decades, I can confidently say the greatest reward is watching children grow into who they are meant to be. This is the heart of our work, and it always has been.

Sincerely,

Our Circle

The word “circle” in our name, The Learning Circle, symbolizes our commitment to building a strong foundation for our students. Just like a circle has no beginning or end, we strive to create a holistic and continuous learning experience for our students, encompassing all areas of their development.

The idea of a protective and unifying circle also reflects our nurturing and supportive environment, where every student is valued and their well-being is prioritized. With our updated programs and vision, we aim to provide a complete and comprehensive foundation for our students to thrive and succeed in all aspects of their lives.

Our Dedication

At 23, I lost both of my parents within five months, a loss that taught me to cherish the people we love. In their honor, I’ve dedicated our Learning Circle Campuses to the families we serve.

Our mission is to help children build strong foundations, positive values, and a love for learning through our “Foundations” classes and supportive community.

The Learning Circle has become my extended family, and I’m grateful for it. If you’re seeking a safe, nurturing place for your child to grow, we invite you to join our community.
